Not to forget :

Born in Napoli, Alessandro Scarlatti established the Napolitan school of Opera. Opera buffa, a comic opera is originating in Napoli. Enrico Caruso one of the most famous tenors of all times was born in Napoli. So were the actor Toto, the play writer Eduardo De Filippo, the composer Salvatore Leoncavallo and the king Vittorio Emmanuele. O sole mio and Funiculi funicular are parts of world-known Canzone Napoletana.

Massimiliano, the Chef from Sardinia suggests : “Enjoy a pizza Marguerita along with a light special beer, Pale Ale. If you prefer Fettucini, white wine Sauvignon blanc can do miracles in your mouth. Also with Risotto marinara (Arborio Italian rice) white wine Chardonnay is a really good choice. And definitely you will indulge yourself with red wine Caberne Sauvignon if you order BBQ lamb chop or marinated pork ribs. (If you are lucky ask for Chianti or Barbera d’ Asti.) If you are not sure about yous choices, ask for the Chef!!!’’

Pasta De Cecco One century ago, in the small village of Fara San Martino, at the foot of mount Maiella, the De Cecco brothersstarted their pasta enterprise. Fisrt the Molino, the mill and later the pastificio, the pasta factory. It was Filippo De Cecco who created the new "low temperature"-drying model, which allowed pasta to dry in 24 hours, exceeding the limitations imposed by weather conditions. In 1908 the country girl from Abruzzo with the wheat stacks became the trademark of the company and of the worldwide known taste of pasta.

P.S. YES, all the ingredients are imported from Italy. Olive oil and olives, balsamico, and vinegar, all kinds of cheese and gorgonzola travel all the way from Italy to Bali for you to enjoy the pure and unique taste of Napoli.

Close to the basic philosophy of Bali island for life, it was the Italian poet Salvatore Quasimodo who wrote: Ognuno di noi e solo sul cuore della terra, traffito da un ragio del sole. Ed e subito sera. Each one of us Stays alone on the heart of the earth, Penetrated by a ray of the sun. And suddenly night falls.
